 Back to events overview

In the evening of 10 December 2018, Professor Mariana Mazzucato was hosted by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Professor Attila Brungs, in partnership with CPD, to deliver a public lecture on future directions for innovation policy and lessons for Australia.

Attended by over 200 people, the lecture navigated Professor Mazzucato’s three big pieces of work – the entrepreneurial state, the reinvention of capitalism and the rediscovery of the economics of value, and the rising significance of public value. This event was supported by The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science and the Cooperative Research Centres Association.
