The Howard years seem to many an increasingly distant memory, but how much has the government changed since the LNP’s historic defeat in 2007? Mark Bahnisch believes the social democratic promise of newly elected Labor has failed to materialize amidst economic concerns and an irrational commitment to return to surplus at any cost.
