Wenqian is a researcher and policy adviser with a strong interest in gender equality and sustainable development. Her PhD thesis explored the use of narrative inquiry as a research methodology to understand how individuals navigate systems, with a focus on women international students in engineering.
Wenqian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney. She has facilitated workshops on human-centred design and volunteered as Chapter President for Engineers Without Borders NSW. She enjoys long walks and puzzle games in her spare time.
